Day 1 Episode 1 ~ Sara Jane

Chapter 10 ~ Friend or Foe: The Downside of Being a People Pleaser

The Catalyst

Do we really have to wait for a catalyst to make us so uncomfortable in our comfort zone, before we will take the actions to protect ourselves from those who are hurting us, whether mentally, emotionally or physically?

No, we don’t. All we need to do is find that spark of courage in us and feed it rather than listening to the voice that tells us “it will be OK”, “it will stop” or “well it was your own fault”.

Anything there ring bells? Feed hope not fear.

The Wounded Healer

So many people who become what we call “Healers” have had a journey through their own trauma, hurt and pain, on through their wake-call, lifequake and into their healing journey back to themselves.

For so many of us, this becomes our gift to the world as we share the wisdom gained from within our own journey to find ourselves.

Michol & Scott

Day 1 Episode 2 ~ Michol Mae & Scott Holmes

Michol Mae: Chapter 8 ~ They Just Needed More Love: My Cup wasn’t Empty, it was Broken

Finding peace with curiosity and compassion.

Scott Holmes: Chapter 14 ~ Taking My Cape Off: Saving Myself Instead of Saving the World

When is gratitude used in your life?

Using gratitude as a tool for shaping and reshaping your days. It allows negativity to slide right off your shoulders. Counting blessings keeps you smelling the roses in life.

Bradford & Jean

Day 2 Episode 3 ~ Bradford Tilden & Jean Voice Dart

Bradford Tilden: Chapter 13 ~ Creative Emancipation: Releasing Misdirected Childhood Expectations

There’s No Comparison so Stop Looking

One of the most unique gifts we are given is our uniqueness. But it takes strength and courage to walk this path of authenticity. We actually stray from that path and we weaken our inner strength when we look outside of ourselves for comparison, confirmation validation, and even a sense of belonging that is subject to manipulation, and rooted in fear of isolation rather than the joy of contribution.

Bradford Tilden shares his personal journey of emerging as a uniquely resonating being and the lessons and insights he learned from his struggles.”

Jean Voice Dart: Chapter 27 ~ A Different Hero: The Courageous Neurodivergent

The Courageously Creative Neurodivergent

Each of us is a wonderfully weird and uniquely gifted hero, destined for greatness. The term “neurodiversity” first emerged from the passionate efforts of Judy Singer in the late 1990s to describe those whose brains function “differently” from the societal norm. When we learn to wholeheartedly love and accept ourselves and others, we discover limitless joy, peace, and contentment.

Anthony & Nicole

Day 2 Episode 4 ~ Anthony Wilson & Nicole Peterhans

Anthony Wilson ~ Chapter 1 ~ Following My Heart: Searching for My Truth in an Unaccepting Religion

Spiritually Following the Wisdom of your Heart

Often, we are told by religion what to believe.  Sometimes religion defines some of us as “good people” and others as “bad people”.  With love and compassion as our guides, we can choose our beliefs and trust our inner spiritual voices.  We can choose to embrace with love people the church might reject.

Nicole Peterhans ~ Chapter 23 ~ From Invisible to Visible: Losing Myself Under a Narcissistic Upbringing

From Survival to Soul-Fullness: Reclaiming My Inner Child Through Post-Traumatic Resilience

Exploring the often-overlooked gift that can emerge from emotional trauma: post-traumatic resilience. Rooted in my lived experience growing up under the shadow of a narcissistic parent, I share how my journey of healing became a sacred reunion with my inner child—the intuitive, tender, and wise part of me that had been buried under years of people-pleasing and silence.

Rather than being defined by my past, I now see myself as an alchemist of it.

Jos & Lorree

Day 3 Episode 5 ~ Jos Smeets & Lorree Appleby

Lorree Appleby: Chapter 3 ~ The Risk of Living My Truth: Instead of Someone Else’s

The Art of Letting Go of Judgement & Disappointment

Judgment and disappointment are a normal part of life but what can we do to process our thoughts and feelings in a healthy way so we can accept the situation as it is? Let’s talk about it!

Jos Smeets: Chapter 22 ~ Stay true to Yourself: Look Who’s Talking

The Spiritual Ego

We can say or claim all kinds of things, but are they really true for us? “To say these things means nothing; to mean these words means everything”

  • Do we put flesh on these bones?
  • Do we speak from the heart or from the mind?

As long as we believe in enemies, were are certainly not free. And when I say this I mean: seen from the deepest Reality. On the human plane I DO see enemies (Trump, Putin etc.), but seen from the “soul level” we are all “divine”. So my “judgement” is relative, not absolute.

Dorian & Ilene

Day 3 Episode 6 ~ Ilene Dillon & Dorian Des Lauriers

Ilene Dillon: Chapter 6 ~ Manipulation Can Be Hard to See

Emotions Are Constantly Speaking to All of Us

We’re all “moving on up” in the world these days! We’re moving from 3 dimensional beings to primarily Energy Beings. Emotions are available to help us resolve issues and challenges, support us and to transform. Manipulation is about the misuse and misappropriation of energy. Today we’ll focus on use and appropriation of emotional energy that we can do every day, so we can “move on up”!

Dorian Des Lauriers: Chapter 7 ~ Who’s Picking up the Tab?: The Price We Pay and Why We Do It

Forgiveness: The Key to a Present Future

How many hours in the day are spent thinking of what has already happened? How much of the future is feared based on the past?

Starting from childhood things happen to create our beliefs of the world. Those beliefs shape our lived experience.

Learning how to forgive frees the energy of the things we hold onto and most of the thoughts of the past.

David & Heather

Day 4 Episode 7 ~ David D. McLeod & Heather Prince

Heather Prince: Chapter 4 ~ A Life Reclaimed

From Rock Bottom to Radiance: Rebuilding Life After Long-Term Love Ends

After decades in a relationship that defined her world, Heather knows the gut-punch of suddenly facing life alone. But she also knows this: it’s not the end — it’s the beginning. As a spiritual relationship life coach, Heather guides women who’ve gone through soul-shattering breakups or divorces — often after 10, 20, even 30 years — and feel like they’ve lost themselves in the process.

She helps them move beyond the pain, clear out emotional baggage, reclaim self-worth, and rebuild a life where peace, confidence, and real love aren’t just possible — they’re inevitable.

David D. McLeod: Chapter 2 ~ Mind over Manipulation—from Puppet to Powerhouse!: Reclaim Your Sovereignty; Stand in Your Truth

The Upside of Selfishness

When you think of how our parents, teachers, leaders, and other authority figures encourage us–or indeed, FORCE us–to abdicate our sovereignty and allow ourselves to be defined by their rules and perspectives, it becomes pretty obvious that the majority of humans are living within a script that was written by somebody else.

On some level we are aware of this manipulated enslavement, and some people try to rebel against it. Alas, the external force is very strong, and it is often easier to give up (or give in) and remain in our comfort zones.

Angela & Sunny

Day 4 Episode 8 ~ Sunny Peiming Sun & Angela Orora Medway-Smith

Angela Orora Medway-Smith: Chapter 5: Tipping Point: The Road to Reclaiming Your Personal Power

The Tipping Point: My Stepping Into Sovereignty Soul Lesson

In this deeply personal talk, Angela Orora Medway-Smith shares the life-changing event that became the catalyst for her stepping into true sovereignty — a story she first revealed in the bestselling book I Didn’t Become Selfish, I Became Harder to Manipulate.

While the experience was traumatic, it marked a profound turning point in Angela’s soul journey — a moment of reckoning that stripped away illusion, cracked open her heart, and ultimately led her to reclaim her sovereignty.

Sunny Peiming Sun: Chapter 17 ~ From “Why Me?” to “I Am” I Am Who I Am So I Don’t Need to Be Anyone Else

I am Life Itself, Ever Evolving

In my chapter of I Didn’t Become Selfish. I Became Harder to Manipulate, I share the deeper journey behind my transformation—one shaped by decades of cultural navigation, personal loss, and rising beyond limiting identities. For years, I struggled with self-worth, driven by a desire to prove myself through achievements, approval, and accumulation. But through a 33-year journey bridging East and West, I came to a profound realization: I don’t need to define who I am—because I am Life itself, ever evolving.

Life has taken me where I needed to be, assigned me roles, brought me the right people, and offered challenges that became doorways to growth. Today, I no longer chase labels or validation. I trust the flow of life and focus on being the best version of myself in each moment.

Beth & Chessie

Day 5 Episode 9 ~ Elizabeth McPherson & Chessie Roberts

Elizabeth McPherson: Chapter 12~ From Manipulation to Freedom: How I decluttered my Entire Life from Control

Divorce in your 50’s

More and more women are divorcing in their 50’s/60s which is, of course, around the time of menopause.  There is some interesting data about this, and I would like to share my thoughts on taking this brave step at a later stage in life. Not only how it affects you emotionally, but also spiritually.

Chessie Roberts: Chapter 16 : As I Think, So I Am I Am Limitless

Real Freedom Comes With Finally Seeing Your True Motive

How long, how often have you carried guilt for a long-ago transgression?

How long have you carried that perceived guilt for said transgression?

When did it come to you that the guilt you carried was for the wrong reason?

When did you realize that your true reason was to step out from under manipulation and regain your own agency? How free did you feel then?

Linda & Mahalia

Day 5 Episode 10 ~ Linda Binns & Mahalia Michael

Linda Binns: Chapter 11 ~ The Power Within: Transforming Childhood Pain into Adult Triumph

Unmasking the Self: Discovering Who You Truly Are

explores the hidden layers of conditioning, beliefs, and expectations that shape who we think we are. In this conversation, we’ll uncover why true self-awareness is so powerful, and how peeling back those layers will allow you to reconnect with your authentic self and live with greater clarity, freedom, and fulfillment.

Mahalia Michael: Chapter 21 ~ Overcoming Total Rejection: A Journey to Freedom and Self-Love

“Dark Secrets”:
  • What it means to overcome hidden abuse
  • How to take ownership that we manifest what we need most
  • The dark and all to grow closer to God.
Dianna & Laurie

Day 6 Episode 11 ~ Dianna Leeder & Laurie Morin

Dianna Leeder: Chapter 19 ~ Manipulated? Selfish? Do they really matter?

What if what we learned about ourselves wasn’t true?

A conversation about our reliance on social conditioning over our inner selves

We say we are busy. We say we are tired. We even say we don’t like the drama. Understanding how we are affected by the human sauce is the key to dropping all of that. Is it time for a separation?

Laurie Morin: Chapter 24 ~ You Catch More Flies with Honey than with Vinegar: How to Escape the Trap of a Sweet-Talking Manipulator

Grandmothers, Mothers & Daughters

How stories are passed down from our ancestors, and how to unravel ourselves from the past. Understanding, forgiveness, and compassion as the key to liberating our own stories.

LInda M & Sara T

Day 6 Episode 12 ~ Linda Marsanico & Sara Troy

Linda Marsanico: Chapter 20~ A Most Challenging Time in My Life: How I Experienced, And Came Back from Trauma

Love and Compassion

It may sound simple to reach toward this beautiful energy, yet it takes dedication and perseverance to achieve.  I will discuss some of the techniques that have been helpful to me in my journey on the spiritual path.

Sara Troy: Chapter 26 ~ Selfish to Self Love: Learning to Put Yourself First in Order to Serve Others

Spiritually Following the Wisdom of Your Heart

“Learn how to listen to your heart’s wisdom, find clarity in confusion, and courageously walk the path your soul is calling you to.”

My life has been a journey of self-discovery, from starting my career as a secretary in a small law firm, in my hometown, to working my way up to PA to a board of directors of a music business in London. I have been lucky enough to live in various parts of the UK as well as overseas.

At last, I have found my life purpose. Helping people declutter from both the physical and mental clutter that we all carry throughout our lives.

When I am not working you will find me dancing, walking, reading or writing.  I am always seeking ways to develop both spiritually and physically, so that I am a better person, not just for myself, but for those who are in my life.  I don’t know the meaning of the words “grow old gracefully” as I still enjoy clubbing at the age of 60!

Healthy living is my life goal, and I enjoy weight training as many mornings as I can muster.

When I reflect on my life, I do so, only to see how far I have come. I am now no longer merely just surviving, I am thriving and for that, I feel truly blessed.

I was born in Kerkrade, in the south of the Netherlands.
In my daily life I am a schoolteacher and a composer/video maker. Currently I am working with a number of people to explore how we could organise retreats and what form they could take. (Guided) meditation and my music will, of course, play an important role in this.

Dirk Albrodt was born in Germany, living in the Netherlands since 2002. I wrote my first book when I was 18. It was like a small miracle and shaped my future career: the first and only publisher I sent the manuscript to published it. Since then, I have written more than 20 books and countless articles and contributions in newspapers, magazines, blogs, etc. From the late 70s to the mid 80s I worked in a care setting, then in a hospital. I then trained as a naturopath in Germany and on this basis later also obtained a licence as such in the Netherlands, where I worked in my own practice, Praktik Klaproos.

In the 1990s I led a research project on flower essences in pregnancy, which resulted in a book with the same title. This was followed by many lectures and courses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and occasionally further afield.

I later produced two music CDs with healing sounds and am now mainly involved in the production of virtual training courses and new books.

Two of my titles have been published in English: The Essence of Meditation and Archetypal Flower Essences.
