When the Storms of Life Hit

Reach for Your Imagination

By Sara Jane

What do you consider to have been the storms in your life?

How have you viewed them?

What has been your reaction to them?

Looking back now, can you see the changes that they helped create in your life?

Do you feel you are in a better place now than you were before the storm hit?

Hopefully your answer to that one is yes, unless of course you feel like you are going through a storm at the moment.

The way I view storms now (I’ve had several in my life and I wouldn’t change a thing), is that they are a way of clearing out the old to make way for the new.

In some cases they wipe the slate clean and you get a chance to start over.

Is it fun going through the storms, no, but for me they are part of the rollercoaster that I see life as being and personally I am here to enjoy the ride.

Suggestion, are going through a storm at the moment, keep going and reach for your imagination.

Reach for the imagination of your inner child, your younger self, have fun with it.

Let go of feelings of doom & gloom and step into the mischievous thoughts of your child.

Make your thoughts about the good that can come out of it, the wonderful challenges that make life interesting, the fun and the laughter, the fact that you have the freedom to start over and you can choose.

To me the storms of life are a gift we give ourselves to help us to get out of a rut we are stuck in.

So, if you are stuck in a rut at the moment, do you really want to wait for a storm to get you out of it, or would you rather take control and find a gentler way to change the course of your life.

It is your choice.
