Find the Lilt in Your Life
By Sara Jane
Lilt, what do you understand as being its meaning?
I’ve heard the term the “Irish Lilt” to do with the way they speak but I wasn’t sure of its actual meaning, so I looked it up In The Reader’s Digest Great Illustrated Dictionary:
A light happy tune or song – A cheerful or lively manner of speaking marked by a pleasantly varied cadence – A light springing manner of moving or walking – To say, sing or play in a cheerful rhythmic manner – To speak, sing or play with liveliness or rhythm (from the Middle English “lultent” to sound, sing)
On starting to write this, there are 2 things that jump out at me, first I am part Irish, my Grandfather was born here in England of Irish parents and secondly, I work with Sound Energy in the form of Toning, which for some can sound like singing at times, especially when I tone someone’s name.
The more I work with Sound Energy, the more I see the difference it makes to people’s lives.
I watch them relax, their shoulders drop and there is a glow about their face and a spring in their step that wasn’t there before.
Think about your favourite music, possibly different depending on your mood or how you wish to feel.
Energetic to do the housework to, something you can sing along with, relaxing to help you unwind, fun if you feel like dancing round the house or garden.
Have you found the song that is in you, that is your Lilt?
I have a suggestion for you that may help.
I talk above about Toning someone’s name, have you ever experienced it?
Have you tried it for yourself, I mean saying or toning/singing your own name, it is very powerful and empowering.
If you are feeling uncertain, I suggest starting by saying your name, repeating it over and over. Say it with Love, Caring, Fun, Laughter, Joy, Happiness, allow the tone of your voice to change, smile and let go of self-consciousness.
Become comfortable with saying your name and slowly allow a lilt in, a little like a spring in your step, letting it build until you are toning/singing your name.
Use your first name and I suggest if you have changed your name you also bring in that name as well.
Very briefly the reason I suggest this is because although I was Christened Sara Jane, I was always Jane as a young child and I changed it to Sara.
When I do this for myself and I do, I always do a mix of Sara, Jane, Sara Jane, Jane Sara, honouring the whole of me, me of every age.
For me my song, my lilt is my name, it has taken time but I feel my life has been, is being, enriched by it.
I hope you will try this, give it time and find your Lilt, the song that will light up your life.

A Message for Your Soul
Via Sara Jane
I feel I have been asked to share the message in the video below.
I have found that I speak a language some call Light Language and I believe it to be our Soul Language.
Whatever you choose to call it, for me it is not transcribable or translatable, it is about listening with your Heart and your Soul and feeling the energy of the words.
Your Heart and Soul will understand and I hope you enjoy the experience.

An Invitation to Life’s Greatest Gift
By Sara Jane
I suppose I should start with what I believe Life’s Greatest Gift to be.
Love is the energy that brings Peace, Comfort, Healing and so much more into our lives.
The Love that comes from within you, that is you.
Love is the gift we all bring to ourselves and it is that Love which has the greatest power.
How you invite this Love into your life is your choice but remember it is within you, it is for you to seek it inside of you not from outside of you.
Suggestion, make time and space for yourself, whether you meditate, walk in nature, swim, sit quietly in front of a log fire just watching the flames; allow yourself to go into your Heart and invite the Love there into your life.
Loving yourself unconditionally is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
Reiki means Universal Healing Energy and to me that is Love – Love is the greatest Healer.
All humans have been given the gift of self-healing.
When you break a bone, it is your body that heals it, not the plaster cast, that is just a support.
When you cut yourself, the skin heals, it is not the plaster or stitches again they are just a support.
To me there is no such thing as a healer, what the people we call healers do is offer a tool to your body to help empower your own self-healing.
When I work with both Reiki and Vocal Reiki, the energies I offer are Love and Sound, the individual either rejects or invites these energies in and their body and soul does with them what is for their highest good.
The only person who can heal you is you, sometimes you may require a little help to activate your self-healing and that is when you invite in the support that feels right for you.
It is OK to ask for help, to seek support, to invite energy into your life.
After all we are all energy, a vibration and our illnesses and ailments, stresses and strains are all our vibration out of sync, when we have lost touch with the Love within us.
The vibration of the right sound can literally bring your vibration back into sync, bring you back to the pure Love that you are.
As a client once said to me when I had worked on a muscle in her arm “it felt like my muscle was being given permission to relax – so it did”.
When you invite in the Love that you are and tap into it, your life will heal and change in immeasurable ways.
