Spring: Nature’s New Beginning
By Sara Jane
Nature has its cycles and we are just entering the cycle of awakening and new birth.
As the season grows warmer, seeds germinate, the grass begins to grow again, trees come into leaf and flowers bloom.
Bees and other insects come out of hibernation to enjoy the first nectar of the season, re-energising them to continue the cycle of life.
Foxes start to den, birds build their nests, nature becomes a hive of activity after the quiet inactivity of winter.
Our life also goes in cycles. We progress through our childhood, learning, exploring, experiencing.
Into our teens where we really start to push the boundaries set by our parents and society. On into early adulthood, learning that life isn’t as easy as we thought, making our own nests.
For many we will bring the next generation who will find their own path through the challenges of their early years until they continue the spiral of life.
Every season brings changes, the good/warm with the bad/cold, the abundance and lack, the light and the dark, the growth and the rest.
Nature takes her time, she doesn’t hurry, she allows herself to enjoy each step, living in the now, rather than racing to the next moment, missing the one that is happening now.
We have so much to learn from nature and the seasons, there is a time for everything and everything has its time.
It is time for humans to reconnect with the cycles of life, to live it, experience it and let ourselves find enjoyment, fun and laughter, as well as rest and relaxation.
Tomorrow will come in its own good time, let yourself live for today and let tomorrow take care of itself.
